The party kicks off at midnight, three days after the invite. The corridor is packed, the bass is loud, but the capacity is limited.
It is a completely automated contraption with sound & light cues, a camera, a speaker and a realtime thermal printer!
After scanning the invite and pressing the button, the lights cycle through different colours, and the speaker goes-

Bouncers let two people in every 20 minutes to control the intake. The experience begins with the Photobooth a mandatory Neon Diesel ritual!

The space is inspired by Michel Foucoult’s idea of ‘Heterotopia’, a timeless world within our world.

The Time Reclamation Form reminds the visitors to think of time as a limited, unreliable resource.
It is planted here as a tool to make them hyperaware of the time slippage in the space.
The desk also contains forms filled out by other people, but all of them are marked as ‘DECLINED.’
When the bell is rung again, the announcement switches to a generic processing message and loops on every press.

The indeterminate duration of the experience creates a sense of endless anticipation.
All sounds are pre-recorded, and the elements scattered throughout the space remain deliberately vague in their duration of existence.
There is no one to tell the audience how long anything will take.
For instance, when an audience member approaches the reception, they find only a hand-written note that reads, “Back in 5,” though no one ever returns.

A desk bell sits nearby, and when rung, it triggers an announcement telling them to fill out the form placed on the desk.
As the audience members fill out the form the posters on the wall are replaced discreetly.

The audience waits in the office until they realise that the office itself is a waste of time, and they need to leave through the exit door.
The exit gate remains unlocked throughout the experience, revealing that they were never actually trapped in the space in the first place!

As they cross the time-tunnel the corridor that links the timelines the elevator music slowly turns into loud party music.
As the audience enters the hallway, they find it empty. Spray cans, glasses, cigarette butts, and pizza boxes are scattered across the floor.
Before exiting, the audience encounters a photo wall filled with AI-generated images of them partying in the main timeline.
The tunnel is also a surround sound experience that gives the experience of traveling through space and time. Reverb is added slowly to emphasise change of place.

the experience comes to an end.
and just like that...
